writing events happening before the holidays land. (I've already blogged about how
I will be in Tucson,

The Surrey International Writers' Conference is a three-day event, running from
Oct. 22-24, 2010. Friday and Saturday are full days, and Sunday events wrap-up in
the early afternoon.
The conference and all of its events are held at: The Sheraton Guildford Hotel (map),

news is that Barnes & Noble has placed in on their "Happy Halloween" endcap (see

Joseph Beth Booksellers in Cincinnati.
First, at 5:30, I'm having an open event to celebrate the release of my book, How
to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack. The event is open and will have some free
snacks (score!). I believe I will be talking about the book

Book Writers & Illustrators. Very cool stuff.

one I will not be at. It's Writers at the
Beach: Pure Seaglass, a writers' conference in Delaware. The reason: Proceeds
of this event all go to charity.
