Going beyond text-only communications is rapidly growing in importance. Savvy customers are becoming accustomed to getting their information both on-demand and in the format they want. In the future, companies that only “speak” to their audiences via text will find themselves at a major disadvantage.
Video, for instance, offers a way to deliver an informative and appealing presentation on your products or services, and can include interviews with company executives and customers. According to a May 2009 report published by eMarketer, the U.S. online video audience is expected to grow to 190 million by 2012. That’s 88 percent of the entire online audience!
